iDrive could use some tweaks for sure, but it offers excellent and generally quick functionality overall...given the choice between its super-clean integration and a higher functioning system with dozens of buttons that make the interior look like the cockpit of a commercial aircraft, i'll take the idrive.

It gets flak because is windows CE based program and it crashes a lot. It need to have a more stable OS like a unix based, maybe darwin????

It's been a month, so it's about time somebody spouted off about iDrive running Windows CE.

Dude, it's VxWorks. Not even remotely Windows.
