The E90 you may be able to remove the tabs off the old rings and mount them to the new ones however I don't know how strong the bond will be and it may not look that great with the epoxy.
Second option is to mount the new rings right on top of the old rings. Now the only thing to consider with this is to make sure there is enough clearance between the ring and the lense, I have not personally checked. As long is clearance is okay, you should be able to use a wire or epoxy to mount to the old ring. Third option is what I am going to do. Just mount the ring directly to the housing. The small ring on the inside housing that holds the drl and the large ring on the adaptive cover. For those considering this, it may interfere with the AHL system but mine is disabled (modules died) so I am not worried about that. I will most likely be using epoxy to mount them but I suppose you could use the wire method as well.

Yes I am currently in the process of mocking mine up to a practice headlight. Mounting the inner is not difficult, it can go right on top of the old one since I?m painting my housings black anyways. The outer is definitely more challenging. Putting it on top of the old one would work, but gets really close to the eyebrow on LCI. Not the cleanest way, but if you paint it black, should clean it up a little and itâs an option. That is my last resort right now. I am planning on going to Home Depot and try to make a metal bracket for the bottom and figure things out to ensure its stability. I definitely wouldn not want to mount to the shroud of the adaptive light, do nott want wires pulling every time it moves. Umnitza told me they have a custom mount they developed, I am sure OSS does the same.
Guess we can make a new thread to see if others specifically have done this and see if they can chime in on how they did it |

The slow response time does not surprise me because OSS designs makes top quality headlights. I've had mine for over 2 years now with zero issues. While Luis works his magic on all the headlights, his wife Pati does handles the sales portion of the company. They are not a huge company, so lots of patience is key. To anyone who has had trouble making contact, here is the official contact information for the company:

Just wrapped mine up. Won?t be a step by step guide but I?ll write up a thread on what I did. I?ll include some tips and how I made a bracket to hold the outer halo. Here?s a couple quick shots though. Waiting on buddy to take some proper night shots.

I have a set of OSS Design Angel Eyes on my 2009 E90 M3. But recently I've been getting an error message stating that my right daytime running/parking lamp is out. The angel eyes are still working though. Is there a part that is supposed to trick the car into thinking that LED kits are OEM and not to throw a code?
