I thought it might be. That's behind where my brother lives. A few blocks away. His neighborhood still okay so far.

I have a 1st cousin 1x removed in Santa Rosa... She's all the way out in the west side of town (near 3rd and Fulton), but a map does show signs of it advancing from the north... Hope that creek running near 3rd stalls it, but sadly the last I heard on the news is that it's still largely uncontained.

My cousin is staying at her son-in-law's house in Guerneville... This screenshot of the SIL's text says it all though. I was worried sick on Monday calling them all day, and that text was a huge relief... Glad they're OK for the most part, but OMG it was such a harrowing ordeal.

it's surreal. I figure at this point as long as everyone is accounted for its a win.

Sounds like PG&E power lines may have gone down and sparked the start of all this?

Crazy stuff, glad everyone you know is okay.

The picture reminds me of the Oakland Hills Fire.

so sad, my heart breaks when I watch some of the interviews of the victims, I can't even imagine what I would do in that situation when you come back to see you lost everything. I am def keeping everyone who is impacted in my prayers
