Uh, all of it, evidently.

It's a bit of a morality play about the drug trade and how we have to do/allow bad shit in a lot of cases in order to try to minimize the damage to the greatest extent possible. It also delves a little into how being a part of those actions damages you as a person. Do Alejandro and Matt Graver strike you as particularly happy or content people in that story?

This crosses over from just cartel/drug activity to many, many geopolitical scenarios that the US and other countries find themselves in.

Plus Brolin and Del Toro were both brilliant in it.

Del Toro is such an amazing actor. I'll watch anything that guy is in. Just a badass dude.

I'll give it another try...there's a chance I didn't watch it paying full attention (life). It was at home when it first came out

In case you need reminding why Sicario was so f****** badass:

One of the best movie scenes of the decade.

Agreed. I put it up there with the shootout scene from the movie Heat.

I watched it again... I saw some of the parts that didn't click first time around... I give it a 7-8 compared to a 5-6 the first time... glad i tried again

This sequel is NOT the same Director OR the same cinematographer (pretty key people haha), pretty disappointing IMO, as Villaneuve is a master of suspense. I doubt this one will be nearly as good.

Fingers crossed though, I hope its good. Loved the first one.

Agreed with you here on all fronts. But let's hope it's good. Will watch regardless to see the continuation.
