It's not stupid, a N54 exhaust costs $6300 retail. Would you rather not have a true dual setup and maybe the exhaust on the N55 that cost's less than half? Or perhaps the F3x which is nothing more than one muffler with another tip connected? First world problems, dirty exhaust tips.....

I use a fine steel wool, i have the stainless steel 3.8 Cyba tips, it's been a while since I have seen mine clean, can't wait for this winter to end.

Mothers metal polish works great for me.. The liquid bottle is what I use.. I incorporate it into every wash

Some good tips here. I've noticed the same thing on my car. When you start the car, I've noticed that only the right exhaust pipe is running. Does the left one only open up at higher RPMs?
