After advice from Kyle I tried this in the following order:
ECU Reset Firmware upload (V3 official) Map update, Stage 0 non doomsday Valet 3500 RPM Result: Car runs perfect stock. I took walet back to 300 RPM and then I was back to max 10 PSI and LIMP after a few accelerations. /Confused |

Hi Shiv and Scalbert,
I think I have a boost leak. Yesterday the car started to give a hissing sound and today it is a constant swoosh sound at boost application. OBD code is 0237 "boost sensor A error" (translation from swedish). I recently hit a deer with the car... BMW will loka at my car tomrrow morning. I attach a log file of a WOT run when I had a LIMP. What do you guys think? |

And it runs fine with the bypass plugs in; even normal looking boost levels?
Do you have a multimeter where you can do a continuity check? I suspect there may be a boost leak but would like to confirm one thing first. |

Hi, we have found damage on the aluminium intercooler pipe. Looking down on the pipe on the passanger side of the car at the bend downwards it has been smashed a bit (negative bump), it is also a bit dirty on that spot.

+1111111111111 get that pipe replaced asap, dont boost anymore until its fixed. Your stressing your turbo's more than necessary everytime you call for your engine to boost....

Hi,
I was at BMW this morning. The connection between the aluminium pipe above and my intercooler was loose. BMW has ordered a new pipe. The strange thing is that we tried my V3 on another car. It was also runnig very bad, huge hiccups during acceleration and LIMP at WOT just like my car. |

There may still be something with the connections to the relay. That was the reason for the query on access to a digital multimeter.
