Maga, it seems like you and I are the only overly anxious upset ones here. I sure hope there is no delay though, bemison, can you confirm this? can you do us all a favor and ask your dealer if he has heard anything about this so called "Software" delay? much appreciated

Not really given too high expectations. This is the second E90 I order in less than one year. The first one got to me in 4 and half weeks back in June.

800# finally changed from intransit...but now says car is awaiting a shipping vessel, so....that means its at port in charleston..just sitting there...ridiculous

Mine said that all yesterday, so I decided to actually talk to someone on the 800# and he said once the car gets state-side, you should talk to your dealer, the 800# looses track of the car. So its not accurate anymore. As of today now, my OC says my car is at the VPC, but 800# still says awaiting a vessel....

I believe my car was built in Regensburg (sp).
NYCE90- that is awesome, does seem pretty fast. I havent called my dealer to see when he thinks I can pick it up. OC says estimated del. on the 29th.

I guess i'll just keep waiting, the 800# changed from in transit to awaiting a shipping vessel like I said earlier, hopefully that means something, I just want to hear that my car is at the VPC and heading my way soon, im only 120 miles away from the VPC, my car's been at port since wednesday, and ive been waiting for 6 weeks and 2 days now, you folks up in ny who arrived on a ship 2 days after us are moving so much faster!...ahh this is one of the many reasons I hate the south!!...this is really frustrating

if this means anything, I just called Hank Aaron BMW and Nalley BMW here in the Atlanta area, Hank aaron CA said "we've had trucks come in 4 days this week, no problem that I know off"....Nalley "not to my knowledge of any problems"......very interesting, thought id share

called a dealer in S.C as well, he had a car that was on the ship that arrived on Wednesday (either boheme, or ingolstadt) and says that car has already been released to a carrier, gone through VPC, and is on the way to the dealer already. The car he mentioned arrived at the VPC yesterday. He also has no information regarding any software problems. A VERY friendly guy

I did, it's just that it amazes me to actually see a Mercedez Benz lot totally full of cars in all kinds of colors, and then I go to a BMW dealer and the lot is not even half full of cars like the MB. That's all.
More options at the lot means I would be inclined to buy one off the lot rather than wait for a new one to be built.

Can you call your dealer and find out the status of your car. I'm starting to doubt the hold up issue as reported before. I called my sales agent and he was out of the office until Tuesday. I am trying to find out from another sales person. OC says car is still "En Route".

my CA is an a$$ i think he doesnt like me calling , I just called another dealer and gave him my car info, i'll see what he says...try today if possible to find out about your car, let me know.

Owners Circle is completely inaccurate. It is rarely real time info.

spoke to another dealer in s.c, he is aware of the software problem, he says for cars that are already bought though, they "are getting those through fairly quickly, its only a 3-4 day delay"...none the less, a delay
