For those getting the update from out of town, please call or email Helix for instructions, and we'll get you taken care of. We'll be installing the new Attache, intercooler and other goodies on our new 135 mule on Monday: just in time for a little N54 GTG and go kart grand prix.

Got the new map loaded yesterday (thanks Anthony!), the new tune is much much smoother than the older version (March timeframe). I see the biggest improvement in low-speed acceleration and there's no more lurching forward either at sustained high-speed.
As Alex said on the first post, I don't know what to think about it yet, it certainly *feels* slower due to the smoothness but during my 100mile drive back home yesterday it proved that it is still fast as hell. I'd like to see a before and after torque curve comparison as well. Sorry, don't have a baseline so I can't help with the dyno. |

I think you might have misread a little bit. The new map that was supposed to have come out felt slower. Because of that we went back to the drawing board(in the car testing) and created a new map. The new new map is the one you have and it shouldn't feel slow at all, just a helluva lot smoother.

I haven't been keeping upto date w/all the DME/update drama, but '06 builds which get updated @ the dealer will have no prob w/the revised map? I've been avoiding the dealer for like 3 mths now, but seriously think I need the fuel pump replaced. Have to restart due to limps every day now while driving.
