I'd highly recommend getting a good image of the disk even if your system is working well, as the disk will eventually fail. Its inevitable. Easier to pull an image from a working disk than a failing one.

I did a SSD upgrade, and in the process have an image backed up of the original disk in case its ever needed in the future.

Hi everyone! Mine does the reboot thing as well, by any chance do you know if the CIC would stop rebooting but still work playing music via AUX if I remove the HDD? I'm not interested in using the navigation or anything, just want the CIC to stop rebooting while playing from AUX or radio.

I suspect there's something wrong with the hard drive at the moment, since I can't see the songs I used to have on it anymore. The CIC works perfectly fine except for the rebooting though.

All my other functions worked whilst I had the drive out before I replaced it.
