This is appearing in many peoples' speech as a default way to begin a sentence. Do they need a little pause while they compose the sentence? Do they think it conveys an air of thoughtfulness? Not sure. But it irritates the fuck out of me.

My sisters overuse the word "fancy" to describe anything that is nice or not cheap. I usually respond with "and sassy."
