I was cool in July when the order was placed. I was anxious but still relaxed in August as there was no helping the fact that the factory was closed. I started calling BMWNA every single day in September once production started. Once I started tracking my ship, I became a nervous wreck, so much so that I think my wife is more excited for this car to get here than I am now (I think just so I'll stop talking about the damn thing).

So to answer your question, I've been a slow descent into nail biter territory for four months now.

damn you ordered it when '09s were still in the dark.. 4 months!!

well i'm quite lucky since mine will be done production in less than 2 weeks.. its the transit time which is a killer.. lets hope i get clear blue waters all the way through and don't have to wait for a ship.. i really want this thing by thanksgiving so i can enjoy the long weekend! i know its a long shot but i hope for the best

i've already found snow tires/wheels to buy, prob pick them up soon.. as well as my first mods (painted reflectors, M wheel, M shift knob, Short Shift Kit).. prob order them next week.. at least i can play with my steering wheel until the car actually gets here
