No not yet, although I will. I know it isn’t water because water dries up, water doesn’t leave a stain on your drive for months and months.

The liquid seems oily in consistency but doesn’t smell of much.

No photos on the internet aren’t always the solution but posting on a forum in the hope that some owners may have encountered this issue before isn’t unreasonable. That’s all I’m doing here.

If I can’t figure it out I will ask my mechanic to look next time it’s in.

brake fluid is miscible in water.

petroleums is not.

I think it's gotta be diesel. Brake fluid would have dissolved and it doesn't look like the right place to be from the shock. Cracked fuel filler neck maybe?
