NEED 1.2 NOWWWWWWW. i think it fixes everything i didn't like about the 1.1 - which was the lack of low end and the need to go full throttle to get any real power. sounds like Map 6 is all i need.

i still don't get the major diff between Map 5 and 6? why have 5 if 6 is the same plus lag fix? is 5 for those with pre29.2? any advantage it has over 6?

Major difference is the lagfix. Most noticeable on 29.2 or later ecus. Just use 6 either way. Lagfix can't hurt a non-laggy car.

so is map 5 for non-laggy cars (pre29.2)? i'll likely just stay on 6 but just curious whats the point of having 5 if 6 works for all?

yes 5 is for pre 29.2 cars. it works for all but more choices are great.

Map 2 I believe is specfically for high altitude.

Here is the list of maps included with the New 1.2 update that is tentatively slated for release 1/15/09:

me and another member were trying to use the different maps and we couldnt find any differences..maybe we were doing the sequence wrong or something. ill just wait till i get it and see for myself.

Interesting, im waiting to try the 1.2 aswell, hope to feel a difference with the lagfix and or HOT maps.
