same reason why you bought a 335 bro,its hot and the people that are in the price bracket of the new m3 bought it because its the shit also.

they could easily buy a number of other cars for the money they spent. Now that they have some major power mods ava makes there purchase that much better.

edit...

omg 600whp on pump gas @8psi(ess kit)

I just noticed that the torque is super low for 600hp

the supercharger builds boost with rpms and is even a drag down low until it builds some boost.

It will never have a torque curve like a turbo car.Notice how this thing makes like max torque at redline lol,its building its max psi way north of 7k

I like that dyno alot tho,you can use the less torque down low to actually launch the car and drive it around town.

lol, I didn't want a 335i. My parents got it for me because of some things I did. Im thankful for what they did.

I originally wanted a slightly used e46 M3 and I still want one. I get what you saying, but with this economy and fucked up pay checks, I honestly don't see why I would go through a new M3 with s/c kit instead of getting other cars.

If I really wanted to be hip and this and that, I would just get a used M6/M5, you have a lot of power and you still have maitenance. And costs will be the same.

Seems like BMW took a lesson from HONDA when building this motor... No torq, and must rev shit out of motor to make power. Too bad the MPG is shit.

I believe that if someone is willing to drop $12k plus on a SC kit for the new M3 can also pay for any damage/non-warranty claims. Like they say, "you gotta pay to play."

Is it just me, or does it sound like it has a little bit of compressor stall a few times? In the first video around the 35 second mark when they are really getting on it. In the first part, when they are just revving it, the BOVs sound smooth. But when they get on it, it sounds like the compressor is stalling a little (that ffff-ffff-ffff sound during the shifts.)

I'm sure its a nice kit (my friend had one of the first AA SC'd setups on his E46), but I'm not too crazy about the SC'er whine on the E9x M. Eh, call me crazy, but I prefer the sound of the NA V8 better.

Let the beautiful sound of that wonderful V8 with the small supercharger whine shine through, not the pathetically ricer like BOV.
Even with a bypass valve if you have a cone filter or something other than a stock airbox that deadens the sound, you're going to hear it when you let off boost.

Just take your car to a shop and have them build you something. Not that hard to get upgraded turbos... Then you can ask your tuner (terry, in your case) to tune your car for your new turbos and your good to go.

Well I hope you have upgraded, IC, DP, Intake and catless exhaust. Otherwise you wont hit 450whp.

Plus 450whp is more likely only going to happen on Race gas not 93 octane. I wish we could make that much off pump that would be the day....
