have you checked the BOV connections?
Maybe try leaving the power off while you reinstall the procede, maybe you connected two of the cables to the wrong plug...or put them into the connector in the wrong order (on the same looms)

BOV connections are fine. I am going to try the spark plug tomorrow. Good thing one of my good friends is a parts manager at my local bmw dealership... hopefully the tool wont be too bad. Thank you all for your help. I will keep you all posted. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

WOW!!!! These are the EXACT codes I JUST had installing my REV II today...I am a previous REV I user so I am pretty familiar with installs. SO, the first thing I did was uninstall the REVII to insure the car ran ok. After everything was put back to stock, everything went A OK, then I re-installed and DOUBLE Checked all connections.... Then ALL THOSE CODES came back...So I thought...maybe deffective unit or maybe something funky with the orginaly Firmware install, so then I updated the Firmware and Maps with the V3.2 Beta stuff. Again some frustration with the Firmware update getting hung up. Eventually after a couple tries I was able to update the firmware, again I re-set the REVII, then updated the maps. SAME CODES AGAIN! ...Then AGAIN I Unplugged the wires from the REVII so it hard resets, plugged back in...Restarted...ALL CODES gone and running great. I cleared the above mentioned codes went for a 45 min drive and everything is working Great. I also have an earlier build 12/06.... Maybe it's an issue with the older DME??? |

First thing I thought when I saw the OP post those codes is that the tune was detected, but I didn't want to start spreading unfounded rumours. But the crank position code and overboost code are readily associated with things that the tune alters. |

If the harness is not making proper contact, then all those signals which get intercepted by the piggyback are not getting through to the DME.....therefore numerous malfunctions would be registered. Getting those harness connections locked onto the ECU unit correctly can be a little tricky especially when the locking slider interferes with the side of the ECU compartment. Many have mentioned that lifting the ECU unit out of the box an inch or so can help make the alignment easier. |

That very could have been the issue. In regards to the slider install, I ALWAYS lift the ECU out a bit, as it's almost impossible to get the large slider locked in otherwise. To the OP....looks like there is a loose connection somewhere in your install I would re-check EVERYTHING Specifically the ECU Slide install and the plug from the Procede unit to the harness... your problem is right in front of your somewhere. GOOD LUCK and let us know how it goes. Last edited by joec500; 02-13-2009 at 12:27 PM.. |

I did not have any loose connections anywhere. I removed the cede, made sure all the connections are snug, and still throws codes. The car has 41k miles on it so I'm wondering if I may have a spark plug issue.

Could be about that time... especially since the procede is completely removed and you are still getting misfires...

If you've removed the PROcede v3.2 and still having problems, then just take it to your dealer...period. They'll figure it out. I'm betting on HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) failure and/or bad spark plugs. G/L.
