Silver will give a better contrast to black interior. But silver is more flashy thus it is not a color for everyone. If you are not looking for 100% black out look, I think silver will suit the car more.

Let me know if you have more questions. We have both black and silver, idrive and nonidrive in stock.

I seems to be good quality they look nice. But the competitors have titanium? But I think silver would look good.

Don't worry about the quality, there are quite a few members on this board had bought our trim and they will all receive it sometime this week. I am 100% sure that they will be satisfy with the result. Wait for their review.

Yea, Unfortuntely, we don't have titanium at this moment.

From what Ive seen it looks nice. But i just cant decide which trim would perfectly fit my all black e90. Sometimes I think it is too dark too black. So the silver trim would look the best. But also i think that if the car is black and interior is black then I should go with black cf to match everything else.?

Usually, owner with black interior will want lighter color trim which can give the all black interior a little bit of contrast. If you are 100% into black out look, black is for you. However, if you don't mind the attention from the silver color carbon fiber, as I said before, silver carbon fiber will match a black/black car nicely.

Yea, many people are complaining about the stainless steel piece for the ashtray lid, we are working on that as we speak.

We are making the stainless strip now, the trim we have now don't have the stainless strip on the ashtray lid, but if you really want the stainless strip and you don't want to wait for the strip before you order, we can send it to you after once the strip is done.

I am not sure how long would it takes as the factory is extremely busy at this moment due to the development of other parts

I think that the fact that the base of the cf trims are resin are a plus because they are not as felxible as plastic therefore not making the squeaky noise they aluminum trim does when I push the trims in my door. The resin based trims make them harder? less flexible?

The reason for resin over plastic is all due to the cost of maunfacture. Everyone knows how to make a mold for a plastic piece with the right machine. However, the mold is very expensive. Therefore, it makes economy sense to make carbon fiber interior trim with resin base. You sacrifice very little flexibility for a very big fix cost (which will eventually transfer to the end user)

Yes, resin is not as flexible as plastic, but it is very durable and strong. The reason for squeaky noise from you aluminum trim is because the plastic is so soft that when you push onto it, it will flex or bend and thus causing the pins or even the trim piece itself to make contact with other parts (causing noise).

The resin is not hard, but the carbon fiber is. Therefore, the trim will not bend as easily as your stock plastic trim.

Ok. Thanks for the info. Im looking forward to buying these. I beleive that these cf trims would be stronger than my aluminum trims therefore reducing the noice made when I push my door trims.

I don't know how hard you push against your trim, I don't think bmw will make something that make noise that easily. May be is there something not so tight for the trim pieces? May be you can ask some other members for their experiences. But the carbon fiber trim will definitely be a lot stronger and more rigid then the stock trim.

Ive had two e90s by now. And both with aluminum trims. The first one made the sqeeky noice and my newer makes it but only in one small section which is in the drivers door, the section someone normally press with the forehand to push the door open from the inside. Its not a big deal though.

I see what you are talking about. I hope the carbon fiber trim will help you solve the problem on the other hand give the interior of your car a nice new look.
