Do they make bolt on HFCs for this car yet? I scrapped stock catted midpipes when I went with the 2nd cat delete midpipes and it would be a whole lot more convenient to sub in secondary HFCs than it would be to swap out the downpipes for inspection

talk about thread jack with all the cat questions, someone should start a new thread for that. back on topic...nice numbers, and even nicer dyno charts.

it will be interesting to see what she does with that upgraded fmic. whats the ETA for that thing anyway?

From the v3.2 thread:

Shiv: please explain why this dyno exhibits the same behavior that I had with the 90% UT setting. There is clearly a surge at 4k....mine never adapted enough for me not to notice until I reduced the UT setting. Also, dyno shows oscillation under 4k. These curves look pretty choppy to me.

did you bother to read what I wrote in my original post? The surge you see is from a very un-adapted map. If you look at the other graphs which are more adapted you can see how that surge isn't there.

this was the last run of the day, car was heatsoaked so it wasn't making as much power, but you can see how that surge disappeared... still not fully adapted though

I want AWD. Very sick. I'm getting so confused with all this stuff out now. Is the Rev II the same as V3? And is the V3 the same as the V3.2?

And don't get me started on JB1, JB2, JB3, JB+, blah blah..

Understood. But I'm not seeing the adaptation/smoothing with 90% UT on my car.

Where's the surge in this log that was not adapted?

Just trying to understand here.

v3.2 is the software, rev I vs. rev II is the hardware. v3.2 works on both rev 1 and 2... same maps for both right now

Well it's hard to compare a road datalog vs. dyno graph. I should have datalogged during the dyno but i was too lazy/tired. For what it's worth, i wasn't feeling any surge at 4k during that datalog you referenced

Great results. I'm still keeping mods simple until the warranty is gone.

Yah, and it looks like you went WOT right at 4k on that log. Just want an explanation of the unsteadiness of boost below 4k as well. I can see the boost dancing on my gauge, but I don't always feel it...maybe that's fine, I'm no tuner.

What were the ambient temperatures out there? Cold temps make all the difference in the world. In driving, I notice more of a power increase from colder temps than I do from raising the boost a bit.

absolutely, ambient temps in the shop would help.

Cold air = power

luckily JP has AWD which = traction

it was cold, about 35° or so. Thats why there was a big difference between my uncorrected and the STD 408 -> 390
