Since BMW's design is not to have fog lights for this kit, there will be a way to bypass the error. We are waiting to get the official installation instructions by mid next week so we should have an answer posted very soon.

Rest assured, BMW will never release something that will cause errors on their own vehicles especially if its on their aftermarket lineup.

You could always just keep the bulb connected &just not turn them on or attach some resistors. What i want to know is, why would BMW not want to have fog lights in this kit?

Adding the pics I took at the body shop with my crappy camera. We have a photoshoot this SUnday - I'll post some more then:

Fitment is obviously not in question since everything is OEM. The center mesh looks larger and you can definitely see more of the stock FMIC - I'm installing the Helix as soon as it comes in so I'll see how that goes.

The foglight situation needs to be taken care of at the dealer and they have to call out for a regional rep to come down and essentially stop the missing foglight from throwing a code with an ECU update. It isn't annoying since it only comes at startup, but at least there is an answer for the issue. I'll head to a local dealer shortly to take care of it.

I only purchased the Performance front bumper and not the side skirts and rear valance. I went with MTech for sides and rear.

Thanks again to Lewis and Mike from MW-Design! Top notch service, always in communication and there were zero issues with the paint matching and install.

huh, I'm in the process of adding the Mtech kit to my car and my dealer ordered some foglights for it... is there a difference between the e92 and the e90?

Or is this a Europe vs US thing?

Joseph,

The car looks great. I'll post some of the pictures I took later after I finish the M3 photoshoot.

I think this bumper looks great, the best E90 front bumper in my humble opinion.

Now you just need a drop
