Sorry just to clarify:
$500 per wheel or for the whole set?

If it is per wheel than the whole shipment will be $2000. Shouldn't that attract GST? How does it work? Or do they only just consider each individual item instead of the value of the whole shipment?

Hi, it is for the whole set, so around $125 USD per wheel. Yes, anything over $au1000 will attract gst and import duty, they will calculate the gst based on the whole shipment. i am not sure how the fee will be worked out though.

You obviously has to show the custom the proof of purchase which has the total price on it right?

In other word, if the set is over 1000, is it possible to claim it is UNDER 1000 to the custom to avoid GST?

Or, would the US dealer be able to inovice a receipt that is of a value lower than 1000?

Sorry for being a nuisance if these questions are too difficult to answer

it's ok mate. yes it is possible, but you have to ask the shipper/sender to mark down the declared value. That's what Julius@wheelsto did for me, my rims was over $1k but i wanted him to declare it at $500usd to avoid gst. The custom will calculate the gst based on the invoice attached to the package, so it is not necessary that you have to show the actual invoice. Hope that helps

Even if you don't lower I think it looks fantastic, You could get away with a small drop and still have the great Drive ability of the car. here Here those be some nice wheels man.

Sick!!

Are the rears rubbing? If not, I wouldn't bother with neg camber beyond stock because it'll kill your tyres. A drop might need a bit of camber though..

The wheels are a very nice contrast with a white car, so I like your choice very much. Generally I have a taste for slightly understated appearances, so I think a white bonnet might give a cleaner look. Black vents seem cool though. Just my opinion - everyone has one, eh?

The wheels look awesome on the car- nice one! +1 with not changing the camber - it will kill your tyres! The front end would look better though if you dropped it. Have ou noticed the difference with non RFTs? Massive isn't it? You can really see why they don't put RFTs on their M cars...

BTW did you get a black grille at the front with the M-Sport pack (instead of stock grey for 335s) or does the M-sport front come with it?

Love the wheels ... great choice!!. I know everyone has differences in opinion but for me the black bonnet cheapens the look of the car. You could do that on a Skyline and get away with it but not on a new BMW ... Sorry ... just my two cents worth.

If you are going to lower the car then do it the right way with a set of coilovers. A bit more expensive but very rewarding.

+1 for painting your bonnet. BMW's have to look understated... not over the top.

but wheels look great.

another +1 for not lowering it. it looks great as it is...

love the bootlid too

Don't paint the roof, RIP IT OFF & REPLACE IT! Get a Vorsteiner CFRP roof! That'd really set it off!

Can't help you with the springs mate- I'm running stock springs/shocks. I reckon they're good enough for a daily driver and with all the speed humps around, dropping it would be a huge problem with bottoming out.

+1 for painting the bonnet. I'm a great believer in the "sleeper" car. Get a procede or similar. Much better value for money to get more thrills out of your car!!!
