im not having the bumper repaired. ill put a new bumper from the classifieds on. the front bumper is much more complicated to replace because of the headlight washers etc.

look guys, no used car is going to be perfect. Even the ones on the lot had damage and are usually fixed and cheaply as possible [meaning no quality] and CPO cars like mine with similar mileage are retailing for $30-$32k and thats without the wheels, pedals, badge, and ext mait plan.
When my parents bought a 10000 mile, year old, loaded to the gills E65 2.5 years ago we got it home to discover [we bought it at dusk] that the rear bumper had literally just been spray painted a gloss black. I would have rather paid a $500 less for the car and spent a little extra money having it repaired properly.

edit: the 7 was bought from a BMW dealer, not some shoddy used car lot.
