Active steering is nice when in the parking lot or doing pothole avoidance at low speed in the city (most of my driving is through the city). I was kind of looking forward to working out my arms a little more while steering, but the option is fine. =)

I will say that the gas mileage is not good in the city. i'm getting ~14 mpg for a lot of stop-sign filled urban drives.
