It seems to me that what BMW did with this new rear is combined both the M Sport and Aero Kit into one bumper

and I love it

Looks like it would work with the aero rear bumper.

Lightbulb New Aero diffuser?

I have been away from the boards for some time, so I don't have all the latest information and rumors. Therefore I don't know where you got that picture of the LCI E92 rear bumper, but according to the German BMW website and their configurator, the rear M Sport bumper looks almost exactly the same as the current pre-LCI E92 M Sport one. See attached image for details. This could, of course, be an oversight on the configurator designer's part, but seeing as the rest of the car (for example the tail lights) has the LCI changes, this seems strange.

Seeing as many have noticed the likeness of this diffuser to the old aero one, could this in fact be the new Aero diffuser, instead of the M Sport one?

I tried to get the configurator to show me the Aero package, but could not find it (my german is somewhat limited). Perhaps someone with better language skills could have a go at it? The url is http://www.bmw.de/de/de/newvehicles/...figurator.html.

It's true that what we're assuming is the new M Sport looks more like the Aero rear...

Whatever they call it, I want it!!!

The OP's post is of the 335is, not just M-sport package.

True, but according to the 335is spec, it comes with the "M Aerodynamic Body Kit" which is why we all thought the rear is the LCI version of M Sport...

correct, but how do we know if the rear is going to be the one in the OP first post, or the rear that is on the current Msport?

Hopefully Tischer or one of the other vendors will clarify when the parts become available for sale.

I've heard through a VERY reliable source that an aftermarket replica LCi Mtech/Maero diffuser will be available for the e92s very soon But just don't ask me who/when When it's actually out and ready, we will all know soon enough.

The regular M-Sport package will not have that cool diffuser. The 335is will have the M-Sport package, plus the diffuser, plus the N54 engine with overboost, plus blacked out side mirrors, plus fog light delete in the front, plus a few interior touches, plus performance exhaust (with black tips), and a higher price tag:

The regular 335i ordered with M-Sport package will look like this with just the normal diffuser:

Rear looks like it should fit, but no one really knows for sure.

I would imagine it should since BMW didn't do all that much to the bumper, and just the rear diffuser.

the new diffuser is BMW Performance not Mtech...that's why the normal Msport package on 335i doesn't have it.

Sorry for any confusion. I should've written new e92 LCI BMW Performance Rear Diffuser that is available for the 335iS.

Either way, I think everyone has figured out which diffuser I'm talking about. It looks so damn nice.
