A lot of "knowledge" passed around within the automotive forum community is just complete nonsense. BTW, Id love to run you with my N54 car. Its mostly stock. Kindly not talk if you have no knowledge of exhaust design or if you wont back up your talk.

How about you educate us as to why your series of bent tubes produces TONS more power than every other series of bent tubes on the market. I'd love to see a 3rd party on their own time do a back to back test, I guarantee the results would be much different.
When you come out and make comments without knowledge of the actual product, yes you are a monkey. Heck, we dont know what it will do unless we test it out also. Our long time customers trust us because they know that we make several prototypes before releasing production versions. Tam came over to dyno the car and thats what was seen on the car. Will every car make that power? No, for instance on your car, there is no way it will make that kind of power from an exhaust change because you are running a piggyback. If I ran your car 5 straight times, it would go into limp mode.

In bold basically confirms that the before dyno was stock and the after dyno was tune + exhaust.

What kind of dyno do you have? What mods does your n54 car have?

RPIpower will you please just come out and say flat out whether the car has ANY other modifications on it other than the part you are advertising??

Would you also be willing to allow the vehicle with the exhaust to be dyno'd on an additional dyno in comparison to the stock vehicle???

There are just too many variables to consider when your car is making more power with an exhaust that anyone has seen without a tune or anything else. If the numbers on your dyno are inflated even the slightest bit, it will show on a different dyno (I realize all dyno's are different, but if your dyno is THAT exaggerated then the difference will be apparent).

I appreciate you continuing to answer these posts, I hope that you are being truthful but if you're not, then you'll be exposed.

RPI -
Why don't you accurately advertise the hp gain with JUST the exhaust rather than trying to underplay the fact that the gains you achieved were with a tune as well? It's very obvious to everyone here, despite your belief that no one here knows anything, that your gains were mostly achieved as a result of your added tune. If you showed reasonable gains of 7-12 whp with just the exhaust no one would have any issues with your claim.

Let me get this straight, so RPI is stating a monkey sh*t flinging claim of 40+hp on their exhaust system... all the while having an almost identical exhaust to Britalman (ref: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ight=britalman) whose original claims were more realistic. hahaha I would have just bought the RPI exhaust and called it a day! Goooooooooooood luck with that RPI - you guys have been exaggerating numbers from the get go and now your lies are going to poke through like nipples on a cold day.

So maybe you can enlighten us on the changes to the mufflers you made from the Britalman design ("Our warehouse facility has been doing private labels for quite some time now and with Britalman being gone, we had the jigs for a very nice exhaust system. We did make new tips and made some internal changes to the mufflers.") Otherwise, all I see are new tips on a recycled exhaust system.

I've personally been to RPI and worked with them when they were prototyping some stuff for the Z4. There shop is full of cars under prototype development and they definitely dont cut any corners. Just because an exhaust LOOKS like another doesn't mean it is the same or even remotely the same, you guys do realize a muffler can only be in so many shapes in order to fit in the OEM location right? All of you guys bashing RPI are doing so comfortably hundreds and thousands of miles away. I'm sure someone local has seen this thread but yet no one will go. Free dyno and gas to get there, nothing to lose and you get to see what your car can do. I dont have a E9x yet but in a few months when my lease is up and this bash fest is still going on, I'll volunteer my car to silence all this nonsense. If they really were that scared that people would find out their exhaust doesn't perform would they really post up their address, offer to pay for gas and dyno ? Come on, common sense guys, people with things to hide dont openly welcome disbelievers.

Any publicity is good publicity, so yeah no matter the outcome their name is getting out there.

If you think an exhaust ONLY on this car will make that much power (with nothing else), you're insane.
