I'm pretty sure (or atleast I was under the impression), that you can just remove the CDV completely, and just plug in the two ends of the line to complete it?

I bought a CDV Fix, but I lost it before I ever put it in, Mother f'ing thing is so small LOL.

To slow the engagement of the clutch to make shifts seem smoother. Basically just restricts the flow of fluid between the master cylinder to the clutch. By removing the valve, you have free flow and vastly superior clutch engagement, no delay whatsoever.

so you basically just have to "relearn" how to engage the clutch? cool, shouldn't take very long.

honestly...i beileve the modified CDV doesnt do shit. i had the modified on my old 335i and didnt feel anything. i think its in everyones head. BUT if you do a complete CDV DELETE ( actually take the cdv out) then you can feel a diff. i just did the cdv delete on my new 335i and its so much better than the MODIFIED CDV. people over rate the modded cdv way to much lol its ridiculous

I don't get it... If one can just take the stock CDV out, then why are there modified CDVs on sale? What do they do?
Second question - how difficult is it to delete the CDV? Any DIY?

What was needed for the delete? Was it just remove and rethread?
