i'm HUGE on DIY's and saving money but a small word of caution
some of these cheap knock off air filters don't work nearly as well as K&N's and the brands they mimic i've seen some engines torn down that used cheap filters long term and you would be really surprised how much wear and damage it can cause. you can use good brand filters and still do a DCI for way less money than you can buy one if anything i'd just say clean and re-oil them really well and more frequently than you normally would good job though, glad to see more people not happily forking over tons of money for simple mods just because it's a bmw! |
