I don't know about Canada, but US MSRP stayed the same from 2010 MY to 2011 MY. There is a $1,305 auto trans credit also available here. Don't know anything about a $2,000 rebate.

There is a $1,840 "option credit" on AWD versions of the 3-series, so that may be what you heard about?

I'm in Canada, so the $2K rebate might only be for us. Don't feel too bad, though, as we're still getting reamed on the MSRP.

Don't complain too much about the Canadian price. If you built the car option for option vs the US the difference in price is minimal. (of course with the current exchange rate, US cars keep getting more attractive)
