I keep saying to myself...

"This is Xede only...this is Xede only..."

That torque number is unreal.

I spoke to Calvin over at Vishnu about octane additives, he didn't really endorse that idea... but I'll ask about it again when my car is being tuned on the 20th

Congrats on your install and results!

How much of a gas mileage improvement are you getting? I would've thought mileage would drop.

Shiv spoke about gas additives... he said they dont work - no point adding them. Now if you want to add a *little* 100oct race gas that will definately help keep the car running smooth.

As for gas mileage increase probably a few miles to the gallon. Not a huge ammount but when I was driving home it was getting better mileage. This is off boost though... on WOT boost heh 5-6mpg if that lol. Its also still hard for me to judge since I have been driving it like i stole it since the XEDE has been in. It gets upto speed so fast its not funny... look down are you are doing 120.

I'm wondering the same thing.[/QUOTE]

There are many factors that may affect the hp/tq of a car. Basically, the tolerances, driving conditions and variences in measurements. My personal experience with an super charged G35 is that drive conditons (i.e., temp and humidity), are the most significant variables when evaluating the output of an engine. You may get 20hp or 30hp more out of an engine just because it is 50 degrees colder outside. Of course, this is just my "seat of the pants torque/hp" meter.

Mat,
I predicted it!! You got the best tune. THE FIRST SHALL BE LAST AND THE LAST SHALL BE FIRST. Congrats man! I hope you will let me swope with you for a few minutes. My AT is so fast, I can not imagine how wicked your's is.

With a stock 335i, I would say that the car is faster and better handeling than one in a thousand cars that are on the road. Now, I would guess that our cars are faster than one in ten thousand (or should I say, mine is 1 in 9999 and your is 1 in 10000) That sucks. Want to trade? Just stay on your side of Houston or I will put a cap in your ass. I AM KIDDING OF COURSE. Mat PM me.

William,
I have a feeling your car is putting down more then the dyno #s show. Its too bad we couldnt get it to dyno right. When driving it if you floor it in manual mode does it downshift? Or is this something more with the ABS like we thought. I definately wanna take a ride with you to see how the auto feels. I shot ya an email.

With the DSC on the car responds a little more powerful off the line and a lot more powerful after that. Wth the DSC off, it simply screams. It is always important to realize that I am not on a drag strip.:rocks:

Um...those three vehicles were all dynoed at the same place, around the same time, with the same guy. It has nothing to do with driving conditions. Its indoors with a giant fan blowing into the intercooler.

Hey Presmat or william, i was wondering with the tune, would you still consider your car something you can drive in a daily basis, encountering traffic at times while going to work and etc? Or is it too fast now and would be better suited to be a weekend car? This is assuming you dont have a switch to turn it off.

The last guy didn't finish til after midnight and the first car started early in the morning. Pressure/Temp and Humidy was significantly different for all 3 cars. I know for sure that cars run quicker at night than they do during the day....
Now if they all Dynoed back to back to back, everything should be even.

The car is just as daily drivable if not more. The pedal response is much better it feels much better all around.

I did not recieve any discount above what the current price is. I have a lot of experience working with people in the car modding/restoration buisness and have not seen customer service this good in a LONG time. If you talk to any of the other people who had their cars done you will hear the exact same story. Before install I wasnt worried as much about getting the power as much as making sure everything would be backed up service wise which is why i wrote so much about it.

You think you actually need a review to back-up Dyno Sheets?
