Yeah ... The car is now going to be checked at BMW ... however I have to wait until next wednesday since they are fully booked.
I have already ordered most of my performance parts at Zillion today. So will received my suspension, exhaust, intake, chip, rims, DV's, rear diffuser and Front Mount IC in 3 weeks time. Hopefully the car passes otherwise I have to look for another one. ![]() |

The car is going to BMW on Monday now ... I also ordered some M341 Matte Black Avant Garde Rims from the states. So the modding has started: Other parts include: Forge Diverter Valves and Fount Mount Intercooler H&R Race Spring with Koni FSD Shocks GIAC Stage 2 Performance Chip Eisenmann Race Exhaust Injen Dual Cone Intake Vorsteiner Ver 2 M-Tech Rear Diffuser 66mm Boost Gauge with Gauge mounted next to Shifter That round 1 of installs. But its going to take about 2 month to get the eisenmann exhaust ... so I have to wait a bit. Crossing my fingers that the car passes all the BMW inspections. |

Read this Link and you should know what I'm talking about....I was stupid enough to waste my Ohlins C/O's Rear Dampers upon replaced the M3 Rear Chamber Link as well as M3 Bushings after I bought the C/O!! As you can see, the Rear Dampers' setting to fit the M3 Camber Link is different w/ our E9X!! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...M3+Suspensions After all your upgrade, you will be feeling the ride and turns are very soft in yr 335I in view of the exessive power after Chipped!! Upon I installed the M3 Chamber Link and Bushings, the slide occurence when torque kicked into the the engine is around 80% lesser than b/4!! Since you ordered the Koni Dampers, I just advised you to go with the M3 setting for once and for all alternative!! Or else, you will be wasting a half usage of Rear Dampers upon jumped into M3 suspension parts and settings!! Just my 02 cents.....

335 Freak thanks for the info ...
Do you know how much the parts will cost? Since I might have to do it on the second order - I am running low on cash ... hahaha. And yeah I know this would waste a bit of time. |

Car passed the BMW check other than a need for a replacement battery and light bulb ... so I get to pick it up on Thursday after I do all the paperwork tomorrow.
And then I have to endure the long wait for the performance parts to come in. |

Just picked up the car and played around with everything in addition to checking everything. The car is in great condition. However I am really disappointed with the sound of the exhaust ... where is my Eisenmann Race Exhaust already. The stock exhaust sounds like a baby lizard - I want a 400lb Tiger ...
Also the suspension looks quite low already - I have the M-Tech suspension. Was curious to know how much lower this is compared to stock? ![]() |

I hope it is not that much since that would mean the Sport springs and FSD shocks would actually be higher than the current suspension. Since they only drop the car 1.2" and the race is 2". So could not be that low.
