Well the immediate suggestion is go to primanti's grab a yuengling and order a sandwich (assuming you haven't done as much yet), most pittsburgh thing you can do, and damn good

Yea I've had Yuengling but not sure if I've been to Primanti's...I've been there numerous times but never really hollered at going out at night - more like would do stuff during the day and just chill at my sister's at night

if you do plan on going out at night, hit up southside, I think it's #1 for most bars per square something in the nation, square mile maybe.

Definitely hit up primanti's to start your night and grab a sandwich (just say yes, don't question the ingredients haha...hot sausage is one of my personal favorites).
Southside is the place to go at night though, if you're going on the weekend, station square is pretty good, but not quite as hopping and a bit more expensive.

for particular bars....d's or jacks for dirt cheap drinks in the southside is the way to start (if you're looking to save a few bucks)

Station square is the place for clubs (although our 'club' life is nothing at all compared to other cities)

southside is the place to be regardless of desire, if you're looking for super cheap drinks they're the places to go. Keep in mind don't have high expectations, they're most town equivalents of dive bars. but they're all 5 feet away from 'nicer' bars

They generally don't check during the weekdays, weekends are pretty much guaranteed

just give them a counter-offer so you don't lose a potential customer.

I usually ignore low ballers, just not worth my time but when REALLY LOW bullshit like that happens, I tell them something like $750. They'll agree and I'll tell them to go meet me at somewhere in the middle of no where super far for them. Obviously I don't show up and at the EXACT agreed upon meet time I send him an email with HAHA...that's it.

that's going a bit too far..he will just use another email/username and agrees to your asking price and then ends up pulling the same stunt for you.. karma..

See that's where I was going at with this thread, as every lowball offer continues to come in (latest is the guy that demanded I take his offer of 50% of the worth of the thing AND drive 20 miles out to hand deliver it to him), I get more and more aggravated and tempted to do something like this.

The ones that are courteous I don't care about, the ones where I email specs, etc etc and have 5-10 emails back and forth and THEN they lowball, I say fuck 'em.

And as comet said, anyone who lowballs you 50% isn't a real buyer anyways.

When you let emotions into the mix while making a deal or negotiating, you're doing it wrong.

No. I was simply stating that inviting emotion into a business deal is hardly ever a good idea. It doesn't apply as aptly in this situation because you are dealing with people that are not genuinely interested in the item, but in my opinion as a rule you should always keep your emotions in check. Bitching the low baller out is only going to make you feel better; How much is that worth to you?

I have been in more than one situation where someone low-balled me for tickets, I calmly told them no thanks, and a week later they still haven't sold, so I went back to them with offers slightly lower than what I started at, and they accepted.

Oftentimes people will low ball when they first start looking for an item, saying to themselves "if I get it for this price now, then great, but if not, then I have just started looking so it's no big deal". Well, what if that person cannot find what you they are looking for, and they want it bad? They will come back to you. Or you can come back to them with a slightly lower offer later.

Yup, joined a few years back when I played more. Haven't been there since I sold my last marker last year... that was a joy! Ridiculous amount of flakes, lowballers and people that just want to harrass. They have nothing better to do with their time.
