I have not spend that much on the 335 as I did on my track car. Maybe 1/4 on the 335 compare to the track car. The wife is fine with it and she loves both cars.

When I had my 335xi:

Procede: $945
INJEN DCI: $300
Forge DV: $300
HFC: $200
Resonator Delete: $100

So a grand total around $1900

Then i took the $61k upgrade package to the X5 35i:
Custom Magnaflow Muffler system: $500 w/ install

I am holding off on performance mods. So when I start getting the new car bug, hopefully dumping another 150 hp into the car at the end of the warranty will hold me off 2 or 3 more years. That being said, I dont plan on spending more than $6,500k all in. Which to me, is way less than the cost of an m3 for purchase price, insurance, and maintenance.

So like 6k and I'm just starting on suspension to include Bilstein Coilovers 1.9k, Misc M3 parts 2.5k, and 19"bbs 4k + P/S 1.3k so 7 or 8000 more to go.
Then there is the upgraded turbos etc... Still waiting on someone to come out with some decent internal parts, Cam, Rods, nice welded stroker crank etc... for the 3 Litre Turbo Motor so add in another 5k then- lmao I shoulda had a V8 - M3 I guess....

I'll think of more later... So how much is that?

EDIT: I'm counting well over 16-17k not including paint or installation expenses or little minor things like badges etc... Or the cost of my car which is not financed and doesn't include repair costs, tools(a lot).

EDIT: Sound system radar detector etc is not included either. Most people's mod expenses include labor... I've done most of the work here.

I'd like to know how much enrita has spent on modding his car including this whole fiasco he went through. I think I come the closest so far.

Being the fact enrita is outside of US, I'm sure he paid more money for same parts...and don't even wanna mention all the labor he had to pay unless he did everything by himself. I spend over 20K in major mods that's not including 1/2 the labor...if I add everything up...hehe but it is totally worth it! I'm kinda glad that I didn't trade in for M3 which I seriously thought about but there's something that I really love about this N54 platform

+1...Love the N54 platform and IMO it will be one of the engines that will be sought after in the future once they stop producing it...N54 FTW!!

Nothing. I don' t see anything that needs modifying. Because I'm in my home town at most 70-90 days a year, finding the time to do it is a real challenge.

I've actually thought about upgrading the stereo system. I'm willing to spend $3500 for that upgrade (if/when I actually take the time to do it).

I've seen some wheels I do rather like. I'm willing to spend up to $7000 for new wheels, hopefully with some tires on them. But again, finding the time to even go shopping for them is the challenge.
