i paid 100, i know it sounds kind of expensive for two pieces of trim but the quality was really good. U can probably find a place for cheaper or DIY with plastic dip
Spray paint kits sells at $80 (including primer sand papers paint n etc.) It seems like $100 from a dealer is not that bad IMO. Thanks!

I hated the silver finisher rods on my car too. Switched them out for the black 328 ones since I have a pre-lci. It really was a night and day diffrence.

Looks great , I just got into a front end collision with my e92 LCi
was pricing to put and M bumper on but once I got the list of things that needed to be changed do to the M setup it came to 2,800 in parts from the dealer.. so Looks like I will stick with ordering a replacement bumper
But the black paint will help on those " Fins "
Thanks for the idea...

I just got done pulling mine off, I had to remove the bumper because they were too hard just to depress like the shortcut DIY says.

Such a pain in the ass for such an ugly part.

I just came across this post and just wondering has anyone tried or thought of taking out the finishing rod and putting in a m-areo front lip? If someone has tried please show some pictures and links to where you get the lips from.

Hey guys, I know this is an old thread but I came across this as I was looking for solutions to make my front bumper on 2011 e92 look better. I will probably try to plasti-dip the fins black and that will help but I was wondering, does anyone know if there are any lips that can be attached to this front bumper?

Ideally Id love to get the M-tech bumper with a lip but as mentionned above, this is a very expensive mod.

Thanks!

There's only 1 that I know of:

It actually looks pretty sick in person if you black out the fins, but personally I still like the m-sport + lip look more. I dipped my fins black for about a year before finally deciding that I wanted to go the m sport route instead.
