btw this is the ultimate original bi-xenon kit but a bit too steep. Is this all that's required and how difficult would this be to retrofit?

Thats interesting. Does say "retrofit" so I suppose it should work for you. You should ask at your local dealer to see what they say is needed for the swap. You might also need to retrofit a washing system. Not sure how the self leveling works with a retrofit. It's quite a bit of money though, and the labor certainly won't be cheap or quick.

Looked it up again today and seems like they received quite a few enquiries about that kit and have updated it today saying needs some additional parts...so will come to about 2 grand with shipping when add the light module+switch(300 Euro, what's that?) and the washer($166) + shipping. Then there are installation charges. Why does it require 8 hours to mount?

Guiding mount time: 8 hour(s).

Please note: The light modul+switch must be bought separately, and costs about 300Euro!

Please note: we need your chassi number when ordering!

Original BMW xenon-kit! please note that the law requires a headlight washing system when mounting xenon on the vehicle (must be bought separately)! of course you can also buy the headlight washing system from us!

Let one of our BMW specialized workshops do the mounting, we got the know how and low prices!

I got my Xenon HID kit today. I'll leave you with the pictures which were taken at about 6:30pm I might take a couple of pics in the evening. In the first picture, I just changed the left light so you can compare. For $157 delivered to my door, I couldn't be happier!!
I love their whiteness.

they look tons better than when we took the pictures last time at Harry's in link below.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=462495&page=3

Offcourse if went with the other DEPO solution of replacing the whole headlight would get the angels too.
Did you have to take off the bumper to put these in?..How easy was the install and how well does it light up the road compared to the halogens?

You don't have to take off the bumper. You change them via the wheel well. It took me 45 minutes to do it. It wasn't easy and it wasn't hard. All you need is a bit of concentration, a bit of patience and a bit of swearing and you'll be fine!

They light up heaps better and make the road much brighter.

Yes they do use H7 bulbs. That's what it says on the bulbs that I took off.

does anyone have a part number for Phillips CrystalVision halogen bulbs that would fit into E90 non-HID lights? Or perhaps where I could purchase?

Just an update on this, there is no OEM retrofit kit for xenon lights for RHD, only for LHD so the DEPO e90Projector Xenon plus angels still look like the best option besides MO3/Ninja333"s HID kit fitout.

I bought the depos off an e90 owner off eBay, they turned out to be LHD and the angel eyes did not give the ring look, instead it had bright spots where the bulbs are and dim rings. In the morning you just see spots. The projection of the light is no where near as bright has oem reflectors or even/smooth as my Mazda3's projectors. Took them off within a month.

Hmm you should be careful with HIDs and no projector lenses. Po-po can easily canary you if they get dazzled coming the opposite direction. Considering the price of rectifying a defect notice, might be worthwhile investing in a full replacement kit.

As for the CrystalVisions, ask one of the bimmerpost vendors like E92-lighting. They always have good deals.

Hi guys, ended up buying the crystal vision lights. Cost about $80 incl postage from Cars R Us but am very happy with the result and it included matched parkers (alternative from Repco was the Calibre H7's [super white or something similar] which was around $55-60).

The following write up helped immensely with the change. The most difficult aspect was unclipping and reclipping the driver-side light (for some reason the other ones were really easy, but this was one a b!tch)
