Tons of people have used these. When you consider how much it cost to fill a nitrous bottle and how much more power you would actually get from dumping the nitrous into your engine instead of on your intercooler and you should begin to wonder "why?". Alcohol/meth/water injection offers a whole lot more bang for the buck in both initial entry cost and refills.
For those interested in AWIC. Don't do it. OEMs use AWIC mostly when there are space constraints. AWIC is more complicated and heavier than standard air-air, plus once the latent heat is in the system it takes much longer to get it out. So when you park the car for a few minutes and there is no airflow through the radiator, you can expect the car to be a bit doggy for a few minutes until you can get the coolant cycled through and cooled back down. |

There was a guy who got his IC damaged, hit a tire and replaced it with a aftermarket unit. When he took the car in for work they questioned it and his argument was it was cheaper and better for the car. I think since they did the body work and seen the damage they let it slide. Plenty to choose from just hoping to keep a stock like appearance for basic service etc...
