If you read his post closely, he says ex AR design employee.
I installed a set of them and also had the same fitment issues. AR Design pipes fit like a glove. I had some issues with their early versions but it's since been resolved. I've installed Riss racing, macht schnells and UR pipes as well, and none came close to the fitment of ARs pipes. The last set of Macht pipes I installed mustve been a bad batch because they were so far off ite caused issues with getting the exhaust to line up right, no matter how much adjusting/rotating I did. |

I had PLMs when I had a N54. Use the stock clamps at the turbos, rotate for fitment and you should be golden. Best value in downpipes!

how do you figure im clueless.? obviously AP DP's are the best way to go there arent fitment issues and they make awesome power.. i mean what kinda BS is that to say someone is clueless on the topic? if anyone is clueless its the guy with the DP's that dont fucking fit... no everyone with perfect fitment 0 issue.. obviously we know what were talking about...

I am just wondering people that have PLM DPs, are you guys using those clamps that comes with the DPs? I saw those pipes in person and those clamps look cheap as hell and I would rather use the OEM then those! How the hell do you even get the PLM ones tight enough since it doesn't even have a bolt and looks like it tightens with your fingers!
