Thanks for reminding me. I'll check it shortly. I have been experiencing long cranks the last couple weeks. Not sure if it's just because it's so damn cold out or if it's signs of the *gulp* HPFP

LOL good luck man. I'm getting slightly longer cranks lately, so it seems my HPFP is departing soon. Hopefully it dies and I can get a new one before COBB 07 compatibility comes out :P

Your's and the OP's description also matches very well what I experienced when I switched from JB3 (which I had in my car after two other flash tunes for a few months) to GIAC. I believe it's a trademark of well-made flash tunes that they can operate so smoothly and deliver the power in such a driveable fashion.

As I've not driven the JB4 or the PROcede with CANbus integration, I can however not compare a flash to these two.

Have fun trying it out!

I've been noticing some weird part throttle boost oscilation that I brought up in the cobb update thread. I'm waiting to hear from cobb on it. WOT is not issue, but the part throttle stuff has me a little unsure. It could be my HPFP so I'm not saying it's cobbs fault, but when I uninstalled it I didn't have the same issue.

I will disagree here, GIAC is not "deceptively" fast. When you get on the throttle, it goes hard and you feel it is genuinely fast.

For me, "deceptively fast" means not enough fast. Don't be fooled

Report back with a JB4 vs COBB AP comparison, interested in hearing your feedback on both great products.

I'll try to. Got many things on my plate the next two weeks. Rob was able to get me a updated map to fix my half throttle boost issue. I'll give it a try on Thursday. Currently in Vegas for work. Then I have my heads/cam/turbo setup I'm doing on my T/A so not sure when i'll have time to give both a good review.
