How is it any different? You said earlier they are software flashes for stock cars, once the flash is written, its written.

Have you ever heard someone talk about how some motors are "stronger" from BMW than others? Basically, the speedinnovations tech has to look at the values on every ECU and tune it by hand. It's not a huge deal, because he's very adept at doing this, but it does mean that we don't simply "reflash" cars

What's the difference between SpeedInnovation and the Turbo Tuner? ...besides the price.

Pardon my ignorance on this subject but is the BMW warranty voided by this procedure?

BMW cannot void the factory warranty based on any said modification as prescribed in the Magnusson Moss Warranty act. As a result, this software does not void or affect the warranty in any ways. Speed Innovation also warranties their software against any malfunctions or problems related to the installation, although to date we have not had a report of any issues--even on the Lambos and Ferraris they regularly tune

thats crazy... 335i guys can have this and proceed?!!? thats enough to make me faint.. lol that can help reach the 400hp (yes/no? maybe so?) look at the amount of boost 335i's can get vs the 325/328/330's... average 11hp vs 335i possible 50hp.. thats 5x the boost lol.
So $600 with 5% discount comes out to $630 for a 11-13hp/13-17torque gain on a 330i. Hmm.. GruppeM intake gives 7-10/7-10 for $400. So you are saying that if i was to purchase this, it's not just sending my ECU to you guys, it's more than that? |

![]() I'm actually interested in this tune, though...I'd like to see a dyno (to see exactly where the gains and losses are) but no one with an e90 has taken the leap.
