There is chrome trim around the windows of most E92's unless you got the M3 sport package - in that case they are already black.

Anyhow, called them today, but no response. Maybe they are having an extra long weekend lol.

Hey guys,

I talked to Pierre from Shinzo just now, and what he wanted to do was everyone go to the shop and deposit $200, and when he has at least 10 people, he will then refund $30. He wants it done like this because other clubs have organized group buys in the past, and at the end only 2-3 people show up, they get the discount, and overall its not worth Shinzo's time and effort.

So here is what we agreed to do:

The price is $160 not $170 as originally discussed, as I negotiated a better price with him.

WE HAVE TWO OPTIONS FOR PAYMENT:

1. They can only do 4-5 cars a day, so we would need to book tentative dates to go as a group to do the work, thus ensuring we are not going to back out. We would have to pot up some dates, and people sign up if we go this route.

2. The other option is for me to collect the $170 from everyone, I will collect everyones info and give it to Shinzo. Then we can book with Shinzo on whatever day you individually want to get the work done. For this option we would organize a meet, so I can collect the money, and I will give you all my contact info in case you are worried I will run to Mexico with the $160 lol


Personally I think doing a meet, me collecting the cash, and all of us booking at a time of our own convenience works best. But I want to hear what you all want to do.

What I am trying to avoid is people having to go there, deposit $200, wait for the 10 people to do the same, then go get the work done, and get refunded. It seems really tedious to me.

Thoughts??? Lets get this rolling!!

I'm flexible for the most part for the next 2-3 weeks...I work and live in Markham so its a little easier for me....I'll go with the majority....whatever it takes to get this done asap.

I can drop my money off at Shinzo as early as Thursday or Friday, but if you'd prefer to collect the money from the group that works too.

As far as the install, my preference would be for a weekend or later evening appointment.

If anyone wants to drop off the money at Shinzo, you can, but it would be $200 deposit, and you would get the $40 refund when they have 10 people paid and committed.

If you drop off the money with me, im just collecting the $160 from everyone, hopefully all at once.

Up to you guys, if you pay at Shinzo, let us know on the forums so we can organize accordingly.

Once we can give them the payment, we can organize dates to do the work independently.

No, only Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm

I say we meet at Shinzo and pay together so there's no refund business .. Then we'll make appointments as it fits our schedule! .. Monday to Thrusday doesn't work for me so I can only do it on Friday

Before i read about this forum i had booked an appointment with them for Thursday May 12th at 10:00 am ... I would still like to keep that appointment. I am going outta town this sat. and will be returning on May 11th wed. Hence the appointment for the 12th ....

If u setup a meet i can try and come if not then I can call Piere @ Shinzo and give him my CC# and tell him that i am a part of the group buy ... i am felxible lemme know :-)

Looks like the majority is good to drop the money off at Shinzo, so lets do that.

I can also meet up on Friday to pay, anytime works, but I prefer the morning so it does not eat up entire day.

If someone can't make it on Friday, let me know via pm, I can meet up with you in the evening and collect the cash. Or maybe they will take credit card numbers as per BeemBoi's post.

Well, unless I can get this done on Thursday or Friday, and I am guessing the likelihood of that happening is almost zero, I'm gonna have to be out.

I can't make my way to Markham and leave my car for the day as I work in Oakville.

Unless Shinzo has a loaner car.....
