Anyone can make a V-band clamp downpipe. It doesnt need to be $2300 bucks though. I could prolly make a set, and turn it out for under a G. They would be all hand made though, and prolly every one of them would be slightly different, because Ive never used a jig before. If I could find someone who could jig it up and mass make em, that would be great. |

Initialize a group buy. If you have 10 customers buy one and make them for < $1K. I'm pretty sure it would be a good business . Ask a lawyer if there would be any copyright issues first. The advantage over other products ( when they will be available ) would be the compatibility to the rest of the SS exhaust sections. My US$ 0.02 Cheers Eugen |

It makes sense to have racing cats further back in the exhaust. Nothing gets hurt (power, environment, wallet due fines, next owner that must go to the smog and will come back to you after turned down in the emission tests...)

Any pics of the Single 100MM tips installed on a E92 335i? Do the straightpipes replace the cats? Are both straightpipes included for $369 or is that $369 per pipe?
Thank You ; ) |

well I might be landing a new job at the Porsche shop that used to work on my own. Hes heavily involved with the road racing scene and PCA, so he might be interested in taking on such a project. Sometime this summer we should have some answer.

IMO, Supersprint has to be one of the most overrated exhaust companies out there.

Supersprint makes very high quality products but they also seem to be HIGH when pricing them.

Super sprint is a JOKE. Who the hell do they think they are charging 3k here and 2k there for a pipe this and muffler that, its bullshit. I dont care how much "R & D" they go through, its a bunch pipes and welds at the end of the day. Atleast Kreissegg's exhaust systems have electronically controlled cat by-pass valves controlled with a switch in the cabin. Things like that are worth paying alot for but BS stuff like super sprint is not. Eisenmann is good example of good reputation, good quality = a high price but not a rediculous price. Super sprint is just an example of DUMB, over priced shit...i dont care how "light" or "clean" the system or its welds are......nothing from SS is worth its price.

Another thing, who really cares about how nice the welds are anyway since you never see the exhaust after it's installed? Most of the supersprint cat back systems on various cars that I've heard sounds unbearably loud anyway.

Super sprint doesnt even bother polishing their pipes or anything and yet still have the nerve to charge that much for relatively nothing special what so ever..... like i said, super sprint is a joke. Heres an example of Eisenmann's, Kreis sieg's, and AA's exhuast systems......i dunno about you but they look a hell of a lot nicer then any super sprint system period and im willing to bet they sound better. |

Of course the M5 sounds good, its a V10. The 335i in that video sounds like garbage though ( way too much rasp). The meisterschaft M5 sounds filthy though.

Ok, how come this 335i supersprint exhaust looks different from the one you posted? Different application?

I think the one that he posted is the M5 mufflers. The one you posted is for the 335. I'm not 100% sure but I think I'm right.
