Interesting..i thought they always did a software w HPFP..and I heard they do some typing of coding w injectors..good to know THX

Actually they only update your software if you still have a rather old version of it without the prior priming of the pump. In your case you should already have that feature, so you won't need an update.

My experience has been that BMW is always updating software on my car. I've gotten an update at least once a year. Being able to flash at home is really needed IMO.
