Well, I called the dealer and the parts dude told me that the only way to kill it was to disconnect the battery. So, I followed the DIY previously posted on how to install it. I removed the wheel, the liner, and disconnected the sound device. Now the car is still covered by the alarm but it just does not make any noise . . . Just the way the transporter wants it.
