Didn't completely read the thread, but are there supposedly any upgrades to the fuel system or are you just slapping a bigger turbo on and trying to "tune" around the fuel issues? Because if I want to push 550whp+ (which I think is your goal) the fuel system needs to be managed. I don't trust a direct injection car with a sub-par fuel injection system supporting 550whp with up'd boost.

So these beta maps are for stock turbos, full bolt ons (dci, dps, FMIC, meth)

And they will increase the low midrange boost
And they will increase the meth flow
And traction control comes on in third now

Sign me up. Shiv, can I try them out? Do you need an email?

It will apply to non-meth guys as well. But it's the meth guys that are going to get the most bang so to speak. And we are talking 40-50lbft more in the midrange than the current maps. Non meth guys may "only" see 20-30lbft more.

I believe we have the fuel system sorted out. Which is why we are taking a stab at the single turbo at this time.

Really, I know there was a thread a while ago where you go to great lengths pulling apart the HPFP etc, but I thought it died.

Any more info on the fuel fix???????

Plus a somewhat related question, if you could get 98ron gas would you still need meth? I do not like the whole meth setup at all and would like to avoid it at almost all costs

I waited almost 3 months.. for the ASR's and the actuator had problems so i had to wait longer... turbos just got installled and still didn't get my car back yet and now you come out with this... im so depressed...=( but this is awesome!

Good work Shiv!
heh... don't be depressed. This is not an available product. This is just an in-house test at this point. If you were to wait for a single turbo option, you're wait would be very long at this point. Enjoy the ASR turbos. They will definitely fit your needs.

so is the big single being implemented on the shop car for the sole purpose of testing the fuel system?

any plans of going commercial with kit?

what turbo did you go with?

Looks good. We can't really do this ourselves due to the IC mapping... which is based on the 100% correction map? Will you be adding another ignition table? Currently if 2.5 users wanted to advance they would have to zero the table and run 100% IC right

I need to get my rev2.5, so I can even think about it.

We have made some mapping concessions before with respect to mapping. Just to keep things user-tuning friendly and flexible. In the case of the new aggressive FBO/Meth maps, you will have two very different-looking ignition tables. One of them will represent pump gas application. The other will represent meth application. This latter one will show mostly advance under boost. Both maps will run at 100% IC with default settings.

How does this work for upgraded twins? No specific map for them?

Sorry if this was supposed to be clear.
Does this benefit only FBO meth users or 91oct FBO users as well?

Hey Shiv,

This is great news. As someone said above, there was an old thread on it and haven't heard an update (or don't check regularly enough). Will this upgraded fuel system be offered in the near future and separately from the turbo upgrade???

We fully expect to sell it as a stand-alone product when it is ready.

Just got back from a late night drive to Mexico. There is a Hooters down there and I like their hot wings.

Did some very aggressive runs on SIHK335's 6AT running this new map. For your enjoyment....

3rd to 4th gear (~80mph to 120mph)

2nd to 3rd to 4th to 5th (~50 to 140mph)

2nd to 3rd to 4th to 5th (~50mph to 140mph!)

Yes, this on an FBO 6at running secondary HF cats. On 91 and PWM Meth (70/30 mix)

This is perhaps the fastest stock turbo car I've even driven. Gets up to 130mph effortlessly and quickly. And, more importantly, with the low IATs and octane enhancement afforded by meth, the engine is happy.

Cheers,
Shiv
