My car sounds like a diesel in neutral

Throwout bearing. Go to the dealer and have someone sit in your car and depress the clutch. If they don't hear the difference sit in the car and point it out.

Now that's odd, I've installed brand new BMW flywheels that still have that float. I'll have to pay attention next time I get one in.
