Hey Hotrod. Did you work out why the car went lean on your last time out and did the 11.1 run exhibit the a/f being lean during the meat of the power band?

Yes, pretty sure it was because I didn't realize the meth additive worked on map #6. So it was targeting 22psi, but hit my set limit at 20psi. It shut the throttle which also cut the meth, etc. At the track, I didn't even bother logging the runs. I pretty much had it tested enough before I went to the track.

At the track, always met all the parameters for AFR, TIMING, etc, and the nitrous worked fine throughout the run. I did get a couple of trans failsafe modes. At these power levels, the engine output capabilities is probably higher than the trans.

Your car is such a freak! Nice runs/kills. Next time you are up at Sac, shoot me a PM.

It was my desire to see how fast I could get the car to go with minimal mods and cost. The car can be returned to completely stock in less than a day, with the DPs being the most difficult mod to install/remove.

Sacramento is definitely tempting. I just hate driving the 800+ mile round trip. I'm afraid I will fall asleep on the road on my way between here and there. But the advantage of the Sacramento DA over Famoso is pretty significant, especially on stock turbos/intercooler.

That awesome to hear man! JB4 is really incredible and so is the BMW DME! Makes me feel good about nitrous especially since your running such a large shot compared to mine and everything is fine so far especially at your levels!

Stock intercooler and stock catback.

I must remind everyone that I always run 100 octane pump when on nitrous. Don't know if you need it, especially on lower nozzle sizes, but I like that extra protection that it affords.

I have always admired your awesome launches. Are you going to Sac soon? If you are..it would be awesome if you could bring a Vbox. Last time Mr. 5. went the track was actually reading slow! Wondering where it is now. My 93 octane, non nitrous run of 124.8mph would have been 127.5mph at Sac back in the glory days! Maybe you could borrow a vbox if you dont have one.
