Depends on offset.

For the rear, try a 20 x 10, ET 30-38 with a 255 tyre. That will involve minimal work getting it to fit, if any at all.

On the contrary I've been to places where the suspension guys have told me I have the wrong size wheels for my car, the wrong offset etc etc...
I've had a tyre shop tell my friend that fitting non RFTs to his E92 will void his warranty and insurance

20" rims are quite big for the 3 series. With 30 series front tyres, and 25 series rear tyres there isn't much protection for the rims and its questionable how long you'll be able to run without problems on typical Australian roads.

Another problem is the limited selection of suitable tyre sizes. The more common sizes are 235/30/20, 245/30/20 for the front. For the rear its 275/25/20 or 285/25/20. The 275 may be hard to find because only a few manufacturers make it.
