So if a custom tune is done, are the maps locked? I mean are they able to be loaded into the end user's ATP for tweaking? Just curious more than anything
When we are done tuning the vehicle the map will be visible on your Cobb AP. It will exist and be selectable like any other map. What kind of tweaking are you referring to?

I think he meant ATR.

To answer the OPs question, ATP allows the tuner to lock the maps for security reasons but it is optional. Not my business or place to say if EFI is going to do it or not.

Sorry for the confusion! All maps will be locked. The ATR software is not even available yet anyway.

Sorry, unfortunately our software doesn't permit us to custom tune the 1M yet.

Bethel, CT. We are about 1 1/2 hours away from Queens. We are right near the border of NY and CT.

I might be confused but I swear I saw threads about stock N54's making 370/375 whp/trq. Tune only.

Ao how is this more hp/trq over the stage 1 map?

Again, just what I swear I read. Their description also states 30%hp and 33%trq over stock.

Most of those threads are Dynojets. Mustang dynos read lower most of the time.

This is correct. We are having a fairly large dyno day in a month or so, and this should get our dyno database up to par with some great comparisons for everybody.

It would be really great if a shop like yours existed on the other side of the pond, i.e. in Europe. Just saying...!

Well... considering your company name is EFI Logic... what are the chances of E85 being a primary source of fuel for the 135i? Anything predicted for the near future?

Great job btw! It's good to see more companies getting into the N54 game

We have tuned many Subaru's to run on E85 quite successfully, but no one from the BMW community has asked us to tune their N54 specifically to run on E85 yet. We are not ruling it out, though I think running meth has been a more popular option for those seeking additional power or cooling due to how fickle the N54's fueling system is with all of the HPFP failures, injector replacements and what not. I will make sure to keep the community updated if we have any updates regarding E85.

If I lived anywhere near close to you guys, I would happily volunteer my car for some e85 goodness as I am a big fan of it (Came from a e85 powered Evo9).

E85 would be a very easy way to test the limits of the stock fuel system due to needing so much more volume of it (all else being equal). I'm surprised no one has done this yet in the name of science

^Agreed with the above. Reason why I bring it up is because I have this stuff readily available at local petrol stations down here . Also the fact that I see HPF M3 Stage 1 vehicles matching Stage 2.5 vehicles numbers (running race fuel, meth and a built motor) with only an E85 tune. And then there's the plethora of JDM cars easily finding new heights with it (eg: Rnm's Evo9). So yeah, there's definitely potential with this motor and a demand for the tune... but as dfv2 mentioned, we need a company to do some research first.
