I still haven't figured out how I don't pay for rooms but still end up spending so much money? |

Stay on Fremont. Cheap rooms/gambling and only a $5-6 cab ride to the south end of the strip (on a bad night), that is if you're planning on imbibing to the part of not driving.

i go to vegas about 1x a month
bellagio 1.3 miles caesars 1.3 cosmopolitan 1.4 aria 1.4 venetian 1.5 I would take caesars off the list. price for bang ratio aria / venetain / bellagio / cosmo aria, small casino. rooms are decently new and good size. venetian room is 700sq ft with a seperate living room that has a fold out bed. Problem is their stuff is old and is showing the age. bellagio, 500sq foot. but the remodeled rooms are nice. great service (but if u just check in and sleep in teh room who cares) Cosmo is expensive, their basic room with 2 queens doesnt have a tub, but their stuff is all new. If you get a room with a balcony then thats not bad. what days are you going? i can scan for promotions for you. |

thanks for your input guys. i will be staying from 4/12-16.
^ if you can give me promos that would be great to some nice spots. damn the bottle service is expensive at these clubs, will have to pregame in hotel room . good thing is the taxis are always running outside the hotel so it won't be a problem for me to get one anytime for a 1 mile drive. also im not a gambler. when i go to the black jack table, is there a minimum i need to put in?

Aria wasn't so great to me (maybe they got the kinks out because I stayed there a few months after they opened)
Ceasar's -- Dated Bellagio -- Dated Venetian -- nice Wynn and Encore should be added to the list |

Don't do Palms, its over-rated. I'd recommend Palazzo (or Venetian - same shit)

I've been at Riviera (bachelor party, didn;t choose) and Excalibur (wedding, didn't choose). Next time I go, it'll be with the new GF and to Cosmo. That place rocks.

thanks guys for all your help. since it is my first time in vegas, i wanted to go real traditional and went for bellagio. after getting the vibe of vegas, i will venture out.
are clubs really enforcing dress code? are short sleeve button down shirts acceptable or will i get shit for it?

Depends on where you're going. We went to Marquee and they have a collared shirt requirement. Business partner was wearing a several hundred dollar Hugo Boss V-neck sweater and was denied. Offered the door guy $1000 and was still told no. |

I was not impressed with the Cosmo. Was it me or does it seem like the guy to girl ratio is about 8-1 there? Same with Aria. Cosmo just feels like a ridiculous over the top Express clothing store. Black and chrome and leather. Meh Sure they are the "hip" new hotels but Encore, Wynn, Bellagio (all same owner) and then the Venetian (LVS) have been the classiest and best luck Ive had.
