To O.P if your asking for opinions then yes the wheels you showed do look like volks jap car wheels. But thats the beauty of it, no one else has it. Its more important about how you feel about the wheels than anyone else.

Although looking at the pics on their website i think the wheels would suit the car if you were also to add say darklines, a front splitter, carbon diffuser and boot lid lip... that kind of thing, as theylook like they belong on a modded car.

P.s there is nothing wrong with jap cars.. Im planning on swapping the E90 for a R35 next year. [/QUOTE]

Agree with this p.o.v 100%

All the stuff you said am doing on my e90. I have order front carbon spiltter for my lci m sport and I have got the rear performance diffuser just need to add the carbon on to it. I have a AC Schnitzer spoiler on the rear windsceen and the m3 style spoiler lip on the boot lid soooo I think these rims would look good on the car.

Yep nothing wrong with jap cars

Cheers pal. The latest stuff I have done to my car is uk pressed plates, m3 style spoiler lip, AC Schnitzer spoiler which fits on the rear windscreen and put a performance rear diffuser. Now just waiting for the rims to come and my carbon front spiltter which should be here in 2-3 days.

Check this pictures out of my car, these pictures are on this forum with latest pictures of my car

That's what every one said about the yellow strips biggest mistake I made not going to mess around with strips ever again haha.

Front splitter off eBay.

The spoiler I got off jbspeed.com they are on e90post. On the page where my pictures are below some one ask me where I got it from there is a link just click on that mate. And it comes sprayed in which ever colour you want

Hope this helps

Coming from a JDM background, straight away they look like the drift wheels that get slammed on loads of RX7s and Skylines only to take a beating:

http://www.rarerims.co.uk/wheelshop_...uct=Grid+Drift

They are on a good proportion of the drift cars I've seen at the big jap events etc... really don't have the classy German look in my opinion.

Just my 2p.

Would I get them? Potentially, yes. I don't think it's a wheel I'd rule out.

Personally, I do like them. As someone mentioned above, the lines may not suit the E92, but on the E90, I too think they work well. Also, they're not too far fetched with what looks a sensible fitment and they don't appear too deep - quite a subtle, understated set of wheels if you ask me.

More importantly though, if YOU like them enough, go for it.

Have a look a little more locally though; Rota do relatively similar styles and you should be able to pick some up a fair bit cheaper. Also, hound the Jap forums for something along these lines. I'd expect there to be loads of similar stuff available.

Sorry for the pic its the only one I have, Will hopefully be getting a full detail when the weather is better so then I can more.

Mini review:
Subjectively: The wheels give the car a look of premium sportiness. Elegance of the 5 spoke and the angular lines of the E90 mixing old looks with new modern design works well. Rolling pics and side view ( to follow) can highlight this more. note: for a modded E90 I dont think the wheels will suit as they are fairly minimalist. Either CSL reps or 313's would look better and also maybe the wheels the O.P chose.

Quality:
Objectively: The original paint finish (black undercoat and silver top coat and very thin laquer) is nice to look at but in effect crap. So easy to chip and flake, which then obviously tends to look cheapy. Solved by a full strip down and refinish in a bright silver within 4 months. So far integrity of the wheel is fairly good. My drive to work is all on B and C roads therefore pot holes are dotted everywhere. Due to this and a full car I recieved a flat spot on the front passenger side wheel early last year. Not major just a slow leak over 3 weeks. Had the wheel heated and repressed. Outcome good as new. So far no cracks, splits or other to report. Not looking to change to another wheel anytime soon either.

Current set up:
Fronts: 235/35/19 Conti Sport Contacts
Rears: 275/30/19 Conti Sport Contacts

With more rubber on the road the result is virtually zero tramlining, excellent aquaplane resistance, Road holding. Braking.

This could be down to a combination of the width of the wheels and crossection of the Conti's but this not a review about them.

Car: E90 330i M sport LMB
Wheels used for 4 years approx.

Comments all welcome good or bad. However this is not my thread so lets respect the O.P.

Kind Regards

Was Reading through the post about to say this exact same thing ^ Rota do a very very similar wheel and it is available in bmw fitment as i looked the other day.

Not sure i would put these on my e90 but i think they would look good, as some have said, depends what 'look' your going for.

You could spend more money on a nicer set, but for the money they have potential, jsut depends on the other touches you do

Thats what is called DECENT + classical look without compromising sporty feel of your car (with M body)
Gives you elegant concave appearance.

I really loved those, better than the other chap who was selling those here.

Looking forward to see more photos from side.
