Any ideas as to why this could be happening? I tried 5 times and always starting at 70%

In not sure how that could happen. Can you try reloading the original map and then monitor Throttle to see if it goes from 0-100% when pressing the throttle pedal?

Happens to me when I do a power shift rather than using NLS and I hit WOT a split moment before fully releasing the clutch. The NLS triggers and I get a bump and delay instead of engaging the gear right away.
NLS is kind of annoying since it feels way too long between the clutch release and the power return. And it also feels like the drivetrain gets a big hit compared to a power shift.

Powershifting doesn't work on this car as it induces an extended throttle closure and, at times, a change in fuel modes. But if that is what you prefer (but we don't recommend it), you can just turn off NLS.

When i do the analogue inputs you stated that min throttle is 0% but mine is 70% and max 414%. Just wondering if thats ok I'm not noticing anything different running Stage 2.

Ahhhh you aren't looking at % but raw values. To look at %, you need to look a the Throttle channel in your datalog window once you have finished the calibration

Shiv, thanks for this feature. just when i thought "surely he's running out of features to throw in" lol.
i've grown accustomed to some play in the pedal on light throttle. it's super annoying but i lived with it.
this morning when i calibrated my 0% tps (79 -> 69), my pedal feel very responsive.
for the first time, when i'm driving civilized, i don't have to hunt the throttle position when it start registering.

i know that this doesn't affect quarter mile time, and i appreciate you taking the time to make the tune more drivable.

Actually, I do not need to be WOT for it to activate. It will limit the RPM once I put the clutch pedal down regardless of throttle possition.

Make sure you are seeing a normal roadspeed signal in your Procede logs. What you are describing shouldnt happen based upon how the logic was written. Sounds like you are false triggering the 2-step. Which should only be active if roadspeed is 0mph.

I have 2-step turned off. But I will check the vehicle speed.

I have a request. For NLS, can you put in a parameter that allows you to hit an RPM target before it is active? If I down shift or if I want to rev RPM higher with clutch dissengaged, I hit the NLS activation from the previous shift.
This has happened to me as well. I was merging in 3rd and needed to downshift quickly into 2nd. When I did so, the ignition was cut (because I was pressing the throttle to bring the revs up while the clutch was depressed) and there was a large delay before power returned. This had never happened prior when I was running my Rev 2. It seems to do it just about everytime I try to do a rev matched downshift. Its rather annoying when I need to drop a gear quickly to accelerate into traffic and car has no power to speak up. Maybe I will have to adjust my driving style or just disable NLS to remedy this.

are we getting the new aggressive maps for 7DCT users soon?

They are nearly identical to the previous Aggressive map from last week. But by request, we rescaled the Open Loop fuel table to allow of a wider range of user adjustability. As such, the default Open Loop Fuel setting is now 75%, instead of 90%. This allows you to raise Open Loop Fuel setting more if needed (i.e., fuel trims maxing out)

How To Calibrate Throttle Position
We've also noticed some variance in throttle position sensor calibration from car to car. Perfectly understandable given that some cars are now 7yrs old. This means that the throttle position sensor voltage at idle can be slightly different in different cars. Same goes for the TPS voltage at full throttle. The Procede, like all engine management systems, relies on this 0-5v analog signal to know what load/boost to target. And these voltage variances will mean that one car may not behave identically as the other car despite running the same map. The differences will be very minor and might not even be noticeable to most users. But the Procede user software does allow you to calibrate the maps for your particular car's TPS sensor. So it's worth doing when you have a few moments free. Here's what how you do it:

1) Using the User Tuning interface (v5.34 or later), go to "Analog Inputs" and select the "Throttle" tap on the window.

2) With ignition power full ON (but engine not running), Click on "Set Throttle"

3) The software will tell what to do next. Basically, clicking the Set Throttle button with your foot off the throttle pedal (this defines 0% throttle). Followed by clicking the Set Throttle button with the throttle pedal pressed fully (this defines 100% throttle). If you have a 6at, press the pedal to the point just before the kickdown switch. You will be able to see your original settings change which will give you an idea of how mis-calibrated your settings originally were.

4) After you are done, view "Throttle" in the realtime datalog window. It should read 0% will your foot off the pedal and then transition smoothly and linearly to 100% as you go full throttle. If it doesn't do this, you did it wrong and try again

That's it. With this setting probably customized for your particular car, the Procede will perform all boost and throttle blade control strategies exactly how we intended them to perform.

Enjoy!

Cheers,
Shiv

Also, just to confirm... no firmware changes for people using 3-17+ maps yea(v111)?

In 4-23 readme file, there are 2 different settings description.

-MAP 4 (Progressive methanol), as before, is fully enabled. With these aggressive maps, we recommend a meth/water mixture of at least 75/25. Suggested Start Boost and Ignition Correction settings (for Map2) are 65% and 0% respectively.

4) When using PWM methanol injection, the suggested boost and ignition correction setting is 100% Boost and 0% Ignition Correction, as opposed to 65% Boost and 0% Ignition Correction. This change in boost % setting is a reflection of the scaling changes we made to allow for more a wider range of adjustability.

So what should I set boost and Ignition Correction in map 2? 65%, 0 or 100%, 0?
Thanks.

Do you have meth? If you don't, then don't touch it.

If you do have meth, you'll set Boost/Ignition at 100& and 0&, respectively. This is an update/new for the 4/23 maps.

Kudos for reading the READ ME file though!!

Yes, I have meth, I know how to set now. Thank you.
How about map 1? Do I need to change anything?
