Looks real nice, makes me want to do this when I get my car! Any particular reason you went with this film instead of 3M? Did he wrap the side-rails without taking them off?

Oracal is a little bit cheaper and a little thicker then 3M with the same quality of material.
The side-rails were taken off the car prior to prepping the roof. With them off it allows the roof vinyl to tuck better and easier to wrap the rails.

Oracal wasn't cheap by any means. I found their gloss black vinyl was a better match with the shadowline trim. I was also very impressed with the Oracal rapid air film being used at various demos during the 2010 SEMA Show (before the 3M 1080 series film was available).

No other aesthetic mods planned for the time being. FMIC, DPs, Water Injection, ECU Remap and BBK's Front/Rear are scheduled in the next year or so. |

Beautiful! I'm getting mine done this month too.
I have been considering getting those two "rails" on the outside edges above the doors done in a flat black, with the main roof itself being gloss. My window trim is flat black, and I thought it would tie together nicely. |

Indeed I shall. I've been saving up, and doing a ton of mods all at once. I can't wait to post pics after it's all done
