neat wiring doesn't take more room, it takes LESS room.
Amp racks take up room, but also keep the trunk usable. Instead of losing the entire trunk to a box with an amp staples to it, you have an amp rack mounted in such a way that you can't see (like a false floor) and can still use the trunk.

I don't mind them showing in places (like at the amp) but wire is not decoration...it needs to be hidden as much as it can be.

i have an e90 with l7 and just did the cd changer trim... if i can fit my amp under the trim do i need a rack so my amp is not on top of the l7 amp or are there issues with it resting on the l7 amp? im definitely new when it comes to audio installs so would love some input.
